Thank goodness for Google Earth! Now I can take a "vacation" without even packing a suitcase! I found my house, then explored one of my favorite places--Whidbey Island, WA. Then, I ventured out of state--Bend, OR and Pipestone, MN. From there, it was on to NY, where I visited Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. Finally, I traveled to Cape Canaveral, FL.
Next time I'll plan a couple of "real" trips for myself--from Edmonds to Monroe, and from Edmonds to Puyallup, and I still won't have to pack my suitcase.

Me and My Shadow (Avatar)
While creating my Avatar using DoppelMe, I felt that I was eight years old again and playing with my paper dolls! It was great fun to create a "pretend" image of myself, but I would rather deal with "real" images. However, in this day and age, I do understand there is a place for a symbol of me, instead of the real me on the internet. I've emailed my DoppelMe images to myself so my next task is to decide what to do with the "new" me!

Google Docs vs ZohoWriter
So much to learn, so little time! In other words, the more I learn, the more I realize I'll never live long enough to learn it all...
At first, I felt right at home with Google Docs. But, once I ventured over to ZohoWriter, I was very impressed with the layout of the website.
Now, all I need to do is create a "document" and "do something with it".
Needless to say, my document will have something to do with my cats. My goal is to educate the world about my beloved Korats.

Forever (I think) Loyal to Google
I love Google! Whether I'm looking up specific information in answer to a question or just exploring for fun, I always turn to Google. However, I promise to give Yahoo and Ask search engines a fair chance to win me over. To be fair, I'll do identical searches and compare and contrast results. May the best search engine win!
P.S.
But when it comes to searching for a book title or an author, I'll go to Amazon.com every time!
